Sd.Kfz. 251/7 – our completed project

The frame is our Sd.Kfz. 251/7 D project.

The vehicle was bought in Estland. It’s already sandblasted, and painted with primer.

We’re working on the suspension at the moment.

08.03.2013 The work goes on… Suspension is almost done, frame and wheels are already painted.

November 2013 – the main bulk of the restoration work is finished.

Here we are testing the driving abilities of our restored vehicle.

    Hello,
I am also doing a restauration of a Hanomag 251D 1943. If you send me your e-mail address, I can send you photos. The restauration is mostly finished.
On your photos I see that you have manuals. It seems that there is a Beladeplan. I cannot find one of the D model, such one would be needed to install the equipment correctly. If your manual is for the model D, would it be possible to have copies of the pages concerning the 251/1?
    Best regards, Jean Ziger.

    hi all,
may I kindly ask a question regarding the bridging equipment carried on the SdKfz 251/7.
How was this lowered from the vehicle? Is it that easy that the soldiers lowered them themselves?
    Thanks for your reply.

    Regards

    Ignatius

    Hi,

I come from Poland, and I am a fan of history. I plan to make for myself SDKF from 251. I need technical drawings of it, and I was wondering if you could help.
Where can I find it or buy it?

    Best wishes,
    Janek
